G20

with photojournalism concerning protests, there seems to be a formal trend to show police lines/blockades with single individuals in the foreground - there is a lot of tension between those straight lines of riot cops and free-moving figures. there seem to be a lot of these images of the g20 protests - reflecting the focus of journalism surrounding it on action of the riot cops and violence between protestors and cops, and cops and student non-protestors, and less on the general commentary of protestors of the few controlling the many - of 20 controlling 7 billion. in these kinds of pictures, it looks more like the many cops control the few protestors. where is the social deference level of this country at? what the crap. all i can think about.
